This recently completed Christchurch home has been awarded an exceptional Ten Star Homestar build rating. Designed by architect Bob Burnett for exceptional family-friendly living, the home is a great example of a healthy, efficient, and sustainable home in Aotearoa.
The client's brief to HomePlus Canterbury included a desire for a high-end product with a wow factor, that didn’t break the bank. The pictures certainly show how this was achieved with the clever designs of “standard” wardrobe doors, with a twist. As Murray Hartley company director at HomePlus Canterbury outlines. "The client initially approached HomePlus for the supply and installation of a frameless glass balustrade on the home's first-level deck the new Infinity balustrade was chosen for its clean, modern looks. When visiting our showroom to consult on the installation for this, the client saw the broad range of HomePlus products on offer and realised they could source their wardrobe doors, and wardrobe organisers through us, too."
The clients chose high-spec detailing for their new home which included the impressive HomePlus custom-made semi-frameless 800 series wardrobe doors, for the main bedrooms. Boring wardrobe doors are out in this home, with the clients choosing bold, bright Seratone infill colours ‘Sneaky Mist’ and ‘Fire in the Disco’ with matching powder-coated tracks for a designer look. As HomePlus custom-make its products to a customer's specification they were able to design a high-end product that combined convenience with a real wow factor. The wardrobe doors look stunning with their slim frames and tracks powder coated to match the infill. Solid Melamine ClosetPro wardrobe organisers were also custom designed and fitted in the wardrobes.
